Responsible for providing support and managing clinical and administrative activities for our facilities, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care; administer allergy shots; conduct allergy testing, including skin tests and patch tests; perform pulmonary function tests to assess lung capacity; manage patient flow by rooming patients efficiently and preparing them for examinations and treatments; oversee inventory management, including ordering medical supplies and transferring necessary items between clinic locations to maintain optimal stock levels; prepare and mix allergen extracts with precision; ensure clinical adherence to safety protocols, requiring specific training and significant practice; utilize and apply knowledge of allergy testing procedures, subcutaneous/intramuscular injections, anaphylaxis recognition, patient care procedures, patient flow processes, medication administration/prescriptions, vital signs, office work flow processes, patient education procedures, patient history taking, and inventory control procedures to perform assigned duties; perform IT shots and Biologics during office visits, including vitals, biologic history, and super bills; perform Biological treatments, including monoclonal antibodies injections for children and adults; maintain patients serums, books, request reorders and track them, and release serums in appropriate manner; maintain venom book and put charge codes in superbills; maintain folders for the shot room, including new start packets, serum release forms, and instructions; maintain emergency boxes, medical supplies, food testing supplies, mixing supplies, and patch tests for the office; make IDs and prick trays as needed; prepare PCN testing and venom testing; support administrative duties including recording staff hours, managing time-off requests, and coordinating staff schedules; transfer supplies between offices; train new staff for back nurse position, shot nurse position, front desk duties; maintain OSHA/HIPPA standards for compliance; respond to patients' complaints and concerns; handle daily patient calls, questions, and prescriptions, working collaboratively with care team; calibrate and run the PFT (pulmonary function test) machine, as well as maintain supplies for machine and resolve technical issues; check and document daily temperature of fridges, and ensure eye wash inspection stations are prepared; mixing of allergy serums; and provide coverage and support for other staff members during absences or peak times to ensure uninterrupted service.
