Senior Financial Aid Officer
Everglades University is a regionally accredited, non-profit, rapidly growing University in Sarasota Florida. This position is on site at the campus located in Sarasota, Florida. The Sarasota on-ground campus is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as the Senior Financial Aid Officer. We seek experienced individuals who will provide vision and leadership in an environment that embraces learning, positive spirit, high-performance, integrity. A professional, friendly demeanor with excellent spoken and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required. The Senior Financial Aid Officer oversees the Financial Aid Department to ensure students are properly funded, packaged, and prepared to start each semester.
The Senior Financial Aid Officer accomplishes this through:
· Overseeing student funding.
· Reviewing and following-up on student packaging.
· Monitoring and tracking student financial aid packages.
· Preparing graduating and exiting students.
· VA Certifying Official.
Additional Requirements: The Senior Financial Aid must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of financial aid experience. The Senior Financial Aid Officer must have recent experience with current laws, regulations, and financing options. This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability.
Campus Librarian
Sarasota Campus Everglades University is a regionally accredited, non-profit, rapidly growing University. The Campus Librarian oversees the library system and is responsible for developing the collection, interpreting policy, and maintaining a high quality of collection of relevant print and electronic educational materials that support Everglade's academic offerings.
Campus Librarian Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensures library operating hours to meet campus user needs.
· Provide ongoing assistance to students, faculty, and staff in the form of reference assistance, circulation help, and instruction on the use of library resources.
· Ensure the security, loss prevention policies and protocol of the library is implemented.
· Participate in the planning and development of library materials, services, and program.
· Actively promote these library materials, services, and program offerings to the university on-campus and online community.
Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Library or Information Science granted by an American Library Association Accredited Institution.
2. Minimum of four years' experience.
3. Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills.
