Deputy Clerk I City Of Bradenton Beach
The City of Bradenton Beach is seeking a highly motivated Deputy Clerk I. All Applicants should have exceptional organizational and personnel skills. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting procedures. Must be computer literate and familiar with currently used software and generally used office machines. Also be able to transcribe minutes from all types of city and board meetings. Must have general knowledge/understanding of statutes, ordinances, etc. Must be able to deal effectively and efficiently with other City staff and the general public. Hours will vary as dictated by the Department Head, meetings and disaster situations, etc., but will generally be based on a 40 hour work week - with overtime as needed. Qualifications: High School or equivalent and at least two years of higher education with related courses and at least four years of responsible office experience. Must possess accurate typing/word processing skills of a least 60 wpm. Must be able to work well under pressure, meet required deadlines and Possess excellent judgement and common sense. Must be able to attend any educational classes/seminars to further education pertaining to this position and obtain certification. Compensation will be discussed at time of interview. Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday
