City of Burlington is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated individual to fill this position. $13.11 - $14.76 per hour; 20 hours/week, FLSA non-exempt. High School diploma.
This position is responsible for assisting the Recreation Coordinator with special events and a variety of recreational activities. Events and activities may include, but are not limited to the following; the All Comer Track Meet, Berry Dairy Days, Harvest Festival, Veterans Day Parade, Kids Garage Sale events, program registration, quarterly program data input and distribution of marketing materials. Assist with preparation, promotion and set up and tear down of special events and recreation activities. Support the recreation division with workplace tasks and marketing. The individual in the position will represent the City and Parks & Recreation Department and effectively communicate and interact with program participants, fellow city staff, parents and the general public.
