- System Application Analyst / Administrator - The Office of Information Technology Services is seeking a System Application Analyst/Administrator (Information Systems / Business Analyst II) to perform the analysis, design, planned implementation and administration of designated enterprise systems and related servers.
Duties include, but are not limited to: administering and maintaining various servers including (Exchange, Office 365), Active Directory, Single Sign On (ADFS, Shibboleth, etc.); providing Tier III support for client services systems; assisting with Virtual Environments (VMware) and Enterprise Storage architecture and other assigned systems; assisting with design and maintenance planning for growth and hardware transitions; maintaining optimal configurations and redundancy; providing assistance in planning, acquiring and implementation of new storage systems; working with network and security staff to ensure efficient and secure environments of various servers; working with developers to troubleshoot problems on servers in all environments and assists with the integrations of new code to production systems; working with other system administrators to ensure optimal operation of Enterprise systems/servers to increase fault tolerance for maintained redundancy; providing exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large; developing comprehensive technical documentation and system diagrams, and performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems or related field is preferred. Related experience in advanced information technology and communication systems administration or equivalent education, training and experience. Advanced knowledge of enterprise windows servers, directory services, e-mail systems, virtualization and storage administration and how they relate to enterprise network architecture. Knowledge of advanced computer system analysis, design, testing, debugging and maintenance techniques. Advanced computer system analysis, design, testing, debugging and maintenance techniques.
Full-time position with benefits (AM03/147953). State pay band: 06. Normal working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. position may require working some evenings and weekends.
