Columbia-Greene Community College seeks an individual who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, and student-centered learning community and foster a culture of student access and success, retention, and completion. This position primarily provides administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the College in the High School (CITHS) program. In addition, the successful candidate will provide support to the Office of Records and Registration and Student Success Center (SSC). The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and at times, under time constraints, while maintaining a high level of data integrity. This position reports to the Director of College in the High School.
Duties and Responsibilities
- College in the High School
- Manage daily administrative operations for the College in the High School program including but not limited to application processing, student registration, grade entry, preparing and sending correspondence.
- Work in collaboration with high school partners to ensure accurate and timely sharing of program information and collection of required documents.
- Ensure CIHS students and families have accurate information on CITHS course offerings and connect CITHS students to on campus support services as needed.
- Assist with program communication and marketing including event management.
- Participate in College and community events which support the mission of CITHS and the College.
- Assist with data collection as needed to forecast enrollment numbers and scheduling of future classes.
- Manage general program inquiries from students, parents, and school partners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and electronic records.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records as required by Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Perform other related duties, including special projects, as assigned by the Director of CITHS.
- Office of Records and Registration
- Assist with processing course registrations for non-matriculated students.
- Assist with processing course add/drop/withdrawals, grade changes and incomplete grade conversions.
- Student Success Center
- Assist with SSC testing and related activities, including proctoring when necessary.
- May assist with opening and closing of the Student Success Center including securing confidential records.
- Provide coverage for the Student Success Center welcome desk, as assigned.
Other Responsibilities
- Actively participate in college committees as deemed relevant or necessary.
- This position will require occasional evening and weekend work.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented with:
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet prescribed deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-year college degree and two years related work experience.
- Proven effective interpersonal communication skills required to build and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Contractual salary will be commensurate with experience.
