POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our team of professionals.

Duties include:

• Assists with design of financial forecasting spreadsheets, budget preparation, and variance reports for OAA and its associated programs. Supports the Assistant Director with organizing budget packages and related analyses.
• Tracks and reconciles the quarterly clinical teaching services payments for OAA and its Academic Programs.
• Reviews, logs, and approves financial purchases made through the FIN360 sharepoint site or University Card Solutions.
• Assists with overseeing the live instructional worksheet process including hosting/creating training workshops, monitoring end user completion, and updating end user with live instructional worksheet updates.
• Requests, collects, and organizes quarterly the per click report for the various Period 3 and Period 4 sites for the Office of Medical Education.
• Assists in processing and gathering proper approvals for new clinical operating agreements and renewals.
• Responds inquiries from vendors, University departments, students and/or other constituents and assists with problem resolution.
• Assists HWCOM¿s Operating and the Financial Planning team during peak budget season inputting data onto the Panthersoft system.
• Assists the OAA and its academic programs with financial aspects of special projects.
• Hosts financial systems trainings (e.g., FIN360, honorarium/contract processing) upon request from program stakeholders (e.g., coordinators, program managers, or directors).
• Performs budgetary transactions for the College of Medicine, including the generation of Smart Bills, Journals IDs and budget amendments.
• Performs related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in related discipline and two (2) years of experience in related field or Master's degree in related discipline.
