PSYCHIATRIST – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PART-TIME)
The Assistant Professor will have a part-time role in the educational, clinical, and scholarly activities of the department. This individual will provide clinical care including direct patient evaluation, psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, teaching of students in the clinical setting, and telephonic on call coverage for the FIU Health practice. The selected candidate will guide first and second year students towards core case exposure and deliver selected portions of the didactic curriculum. PSYCHIATRIST/PSYCHOLOGIST – CHIEF OF RESEARCH PROGRAMS (OPEN RANK)
The Chief of Research Programs will be of central importance to the exciting expansion of the department’s research programs by leading the strategic planning, implementation, and growth of these programs. The selected candidate will also attract extramural funded research into the department and continue a high-level research program supported by external funding. Candidates with a research focus spanning any area relevant to advancing scientific knowledge about psychiatry and mental health will be considered.
