Job Description - Overview
The Recruiting Associate assists in sourcing candidates for the various teams within the Art/Creative Department, facilitating interviews and on-boarding for all new hires and promotions,and assisting with training, recognition and engagement. This person will nurture relationships with prospective talentand manage on-going recruitment relationships within the company and with external agencies/contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Leadership on recruiting goals and strategies
- Drafts accurate and timely job postings to recruit employees through paper, web and liverecruiting sources
- Performs searches for qualifiedcandidates according to relevant jobcriteria, using databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals
- Develops and maintains solid relationships within the community such as universities, employment agencies and other recruiting resources
- Performs administrative tasks such ascorrespondence, phone screens, interviews, background and reference checks, etc.
- Informs potential applicants about department opportunities, operations, facilities and benefits
- Engages in proactive contact with candidates to keep them engaged, informed and organized
- Screens and refers applicants to hiring personnel, making hiring recommendations when appropriate
- Assists Art and Creative Managers with interviewing, testing and selection process
- Partners with Personnel Team for new hire on-boarding engagement and retention efforts
- Works alongside Personnel Associates to engage and retain employees
- Assists with coordination of department meetings and events as required
- Performswork-related errands as needed
- Contributesto team effort by fulfilling relatedresponsibilities with a positive attitude

Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary degree preferred
- 1 or more years of recruiting experience
