Our award winning Cheese Company, is seeking a Facility Manager for our company in Monroe, WI. The Facility Manager is responsible for providing reliable, pro-active and comprehensive facility operations, maintenance, and services, including utilities, i.e. critical UPS and standby power, HVAC systems, equipment performance and maintenance. Responsible for all daily production maintenance functions in support of the production department. Planning and evaluation of all maintenance activities, need to work effectively with all levels of plant management regarding any production maintenance issues. Effective coordination and communication with all plant personnel is of utmost importance.
Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management preferred. 3-6 years of facility management, engineering, or project management, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Excellent troubleshooting skills, creative problem solver. Effectively communicate (written and verbally) with peers, management, employees, contractors and vendors at all levels of the business. Exceptional time management and prioritizing skills. Thorough knowledge of production processes and required machines. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required. Must be able to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
