Job Scope
Ohio Northern University is seeking to hire a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Manufacturing Technology for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Job Summary
Deliver instruction in technology-focused courses within the domains of Manufacturing, Technology Education, or Construction.

Principle Responsibilities:
Teaching courses encompass a diverse array of subjects, including, but not restricted to CAD, Fluid and Mechanical Systems, Material Sciences, Robotics, Additive Manufacturing, Material Processes, and Management techniques. Contribute to advising designated majors within the programs, engage with student organizations, and actively participate in research and service endeavors.

Required Skills:
The position requires a high level of technical expertise plus teaching and/or industrial experiences in the areas listed above. The successful candidate will create innovative instructional materials and hands-on project-based experiences, develop partnerships and projects with industry, establish a track record of scholarly activity, and participate in program evaluation and accreditation activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Engineering Technologies, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technology Education, or a related field will be given consideration. Individuals who are ABD (All But Dissertation) or possess a Ph.D. are also strongly encouraged to submit their applications.
