Full-time (10-month position)

STEP, Inc. now has an opening for a full-time, 10-month, Paraprofessional position. The successful applicant will assist in providing for the individual behavioral and educational needs of the student in a classroom setting, in order for each student to achieve his/her academic and social potential. Experience with K-12 students in Special Education with a strong emphasis in behavior management preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, be organized and assist with maintaining an orderly classroom alongside the lead teacher. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. High School Diploma required with some college preferred. Starting Salary Range: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour.
